Study Tools

You can easily buy Study Tools online and upgrade your own account. The cost for EMT Study Tools is $31.50 and the cost for Paramedic Study Tools is $36.75.

To upgrade your account:

1. Go to the orange Account tab.
2. Click on the Upgrades link.
   Note: The products you already have access to have a green checkmark.
3. Select the Study Tools account you want to purchase and proceed to pay online. 

Once you have completed the purchase, you should have instant access to your new products. However, we recommend logging out and logging back in to refresh your account.

Once you finish taking an exam, your results should be available to you instantly.

To view your results:

1. Go to the Learning Center.
2. Click on the Scores link.

You’ll see a list of all the tests you’ve taken.

3. Click on the score percentage to view more details, including your Learning Prescription.

Rather than showing you the exact 200 questions from the exam, we provide you with a Learning Prescription. The Learning Prescription outlines in detail your recommended study areas, based on questions you answered incorrectly. The Learning Prescription also breaks down what types of questions you missed: Knowledge, Application, and Problem Solving.

Educational experts advise that it is better to focus on the topics you missed so that you can review the material and better target your studying. Otherwise, students have a tendency to want to memorize the correct answers to our questions—questions you won’t see again on the NREMT.
